Wallahi means swearing by God whose name is Allah. Ya and then your name is calling you. In English there is no equivilent. If your name is Bill people will say Bill when they call you. In Arabic when they call you they say ya Bill.

You know in every language or dialect people get use to repeat some words in many different occasions which you can't get it's sense unless you lived and spoke the language for long time. I think about examples in Hebrew words used always while for non Hebrew speakers they don't know when it can be used always like "Shalom"
It's a nice word but not achieved. In my culture also people swear to God too much while some times they don't mean to swear really.
No offense please people from everywhere are welcome to ask as long as it's normal questions, just I thought about not repeating the explanation of Balsam.
You should have some friends to exchange languages.

wallahi means I swear to Allah. saying ya b4 someone's name is a way of calling to them. It could be equivalent to saying "O cupcake" or " hey cupcake"

the previous answers is right .
And u must know that the same word may have many meanings , like :
Walahy : means "i swear" , u say that when u want to tell somebody that u r really saying the truth , (but some say this and they lie).
Walahy ? (reply to u after saying something) : means " really ?? "
so it differs.
ya : means "hey"
I hope u understand me , i hope my answer could help.
