yes its for working students as well as full time students. open university means that student is free to choose the required credit hours per semester which is not a case in regular university like u can choose 8 in semester or u can 16 while in regular uni if there r 20 Credit Hours so that's it student cant change and another major difference is reduced lectures which means in open universities there r few lectures compared to regular uni but that doesnt mean there will be no lectures in open uni.

i dont know what is reputation of arab open university in egypt but as i know its in many arab countries which is a plus point and u can receive degree from united kingdom open university while u graduate from arab open university which is another plus.

united kingdom open university is a high standard university and well known all over the world and is ranked 215 in world top universities and i think there isn't any university from egypt ranked below 300.

in conclusion arab open university is good.

EDIT: ur welcome, for masters only requirement is bachelors degree however some universities demand one year work experience along with bachelors degree. why not? every university in world accepts graduates from open universities for masters as well as phd. but keep in mind some very prestigious universities requires very good grades in bachelors like not below B+ and A in order to provide admission for masters degree..

It's called open university because old people or those who don't carry a university degree can join it and earn a degree . No matter how old they are or what degrees they have .
