Houses in Egypt?

Hallo there

I am an Egyptian living in Kuwait. I always wounder why in Egypt central Air conditioners are never installed in residential houses and people usually have to buy air conditioners and install them themselves in there houses. While hear in Kuwait Central air conditioners are always installed in every house. How come not in Egypt? And why is this so?

for many reasons , main reasons : =D

1- because the weather in Egypt is much better in Kuwait .

2- the summer in Egypt is 3 months , that means the people will only use the air conditionals for 3 months per year .

3- Egypt has an shortage Electric problem and the air conditionals takes alot of electricity .

4- since Egypt has an electric shortage , then the Electric bills are expensive , and the air conditionals take alot of electricity , that will make the electric bills more and more expensive .

5- people can't afford buying a house that have a central conditionals .

there's many buildings and houses in Egypt that have central air conditioners but the majority of us Egyptians can't afford to live in such places and of course it is way much hotter in Kuwait than it is here in Egypt

Probably because the houses in Kuwait are newer, and the people have more money to build houses with central air conditioning. And maybe, I'm not from around there so I don't know, the climate in Kuwait is hotter?
