Arabic Translation of "Be Still, My Heart"?
Hello I was wondering if someone could please translate the phrase "Be Still, My Heart" into Arabic. It's the title of a Kahlil Gibran poem and it's very important that I get the correct translation, as I am looking for it to be a tattoo.

roo2 ya Albi = literally means calm down my heart

روق يا قلبي



or



wa2ef ya Albi = literally means stop my heart

وقف يا قلبي

"Don't do it.

Don't get this tattoo until you are 100 percent sure of the original Gibran words! It doesn't quite translate into arabic very smoothly and this suggests an error to me..."



The poem was originally written in Arabic then translated into English. I wouldn't expect it to translate smoothly as I'm sure the English title of the poem is an "interpretation" of it's original Arabic title.



If anyone knows the poem in it's original text or where to find it, that I believe is what would actually be helpful.

I don't know how to say be still my heart, but to say "my heart" you say

"Qalbee" if your egyptian you say "Albee"
